What is GPOS for Windows?
GPOS for Windows is the GPOS point of sale installed on your counter PC. You bill, track stock and print receipts in its own window, it keeps selling when the internet is down, and your data stays on the PC.
How is it different from GPOS online?
GPOS online runs in the browser and keeps your data in the cloud, so you can open it from any device. GPOS for Windows is installed on your shop's PCs, keeps the data on the PC and sells without the internet.
How do I get a license key?
Buy your package here: pay online and the key is on your GPOS account at once, and in your email.
Does the desktop app need the internet?
Not to sell. GPOS runs on your PC without the internet. It goes online once to activate, and now and then to renew its license, which it does by itself.
Where is my data kept?
On your own PC. Back it up from Setup > Backup to a folder you choose, such as another disk or a pen drive.
Can more than one PC use it?
Yes. Each package says how many PCs it covers, and the counters on your shop's network count too. Ask us if you need more.
Which Windows versions does it run on?
The desktop app runs on Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit.
Is there a Mac version?
The desktop app is for Windows. On a Mac, use GPOS online in your browser.
