How to Delete a Sales Order in GPOS

This tutorial will guide you through the process of deleting a saved Sales Order in GPOS.


🛠️ Why You Might Need to Delete a Sales Order

  • The wrong order was created by mistake

  • The customer canceled the order before confirmation

  • A duplicate order was entered in the system


📋 Steps to Delete a Sales Order in GPOS

✅ Step 1: Go to the Sales Order List

  1. Log in to your GPOS dashboard.

  2. From the side menu, navigate to the “Order” module.

  3. Click on “Sales Order List”.

✅ Step 2: Search and Select the Sales Order

  1. Use search filters like Order Number, Customer Name, or Date.

  2. Locate the order you want to delete.

  3. Select it from the list.

✅ Step 3: Delete the Sales Order

  1. Click on the “Delete” button.

  2. A confirmation message will appear.

  3. Confirm deletion — the Sales Order will be permanently removed.


🔐 Important Notes

  • Only authorized users can delete Sales Orders.

  • Once deleted, the order cannot be restored.

  • Double-check before deleting any order.

  • If the customer wants to modify instead of cancel, use the Edit option.
