How to Add Brands in GPOS

This tutorial will guide you through the step-by-step process of adding a new brand in GPOS to organize your products more efficiently.


🛠️ Why You Need to Add a Brand

📋 Steps to Add a Brand in GPOS

✅ Step 1: Go to the Brand Management Screen

  1. Log in to your GPOS dashboard.

  2. From the side menu, navigate to the “Inventory” module.

  3. Click on “Brands” to open the brand list page.

✅ Step 2: Click on “Add New Brand”

  1. On the brand list page, click the “Add” button.

  2. A new brand entry form will appear.

✅ Step 3: Enter Brand Details

  1. Brand Name – Type the name of the brand (e.g., Nike, Samsung, Britannia).

  2. Description – (Optional) Add a short description about the brand.

  3. Status – Keep it “Active” to make the brand available for product assignments.

✅ Step 4: Save the Brand

  1. After filling in the details, click on the “Save” button.

  2. The brand will be added to your list and can now be linked to products.


🔐 Important Notes

  • Only authorized users can add or edit brands.

  • Brands cannot be deleted if products are linked to them — instead, set them to Inactive.

  • Use consistent brand naming to avoid duplicates.

  • Always check existing brands before adding a new one.

  • You can filter and sort products by brand during billing for faster checkout.
