How to Add Attendances in GPOS

This tutorial will guide you through the step-by-step process of adding employee attendance in GPOS.

📋 Steps to Add Attendance in GPOS

✅ Step 1: Go to the Attendance Screen

  1. Log in to your GPOS dashboard.

  2. From the side menu, navigate to the “HR/Attendance” module.

  3. Click on “Add Attendance”.

✅ Step 2: Select Department

  1. Use the Department dropdown to filter employees.

  2. Select a specific department or choose All to see every employee.

✅ Step 3: Select Employee

  1. From the employee list, choose the employee whose attendance you want to add.

  2. You can search by employee name or ID.

✅ Step 4: Enter Clock-In Details

  • Clock In Date → Select the date the employee started work.

  • Clock In Time → Enter the exact time of clock-in.

  • Shift → Choose the assigned work shift (Morning, Evening, Night, etc.).

  • Clock In Note → Add remarks if necessary (e.g., “Came early for meeting”).

✅ Step 5: Enter Clock-Out Details

  • Clock Out Date → Select the date the employee finished work.

  • Clock Out Time → Enter the clock-out time.

  • Clock Out Note → Add remarks if necessary (e.g., “Left early for personal reason”).

✅ Step 6: Save the Attendance

  1. Review all details carefully.

  2. Click on the “Save” button.

  3. The system will record the attendance entry for that employee.

  • Only authorized HR or Admin users can add/edit attendance.

  • All attendance entries are logged for transparency and payroll calculation.

  • Use filters (Department/Employee) for faster attendance entry.

  • Encourage employees to use self-check-in and self-check-out to reduce manual entries.
